The Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship is a program that equips learners with knowledge and skills to create a positive difference in children's lives.
This level 3 course can be fast-tracked and completed within 12months.
Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship
Our Level 3 Apprenticeship course is suitable for those with experience in the early years sector who want to become fully qualified early years educators, recognised by Ofsted.
This course develops your knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the fundamental principles needed to support individuals in their early stages of development.
As part of our Level 3
We also cover other additional subjects such as Forest School, In the Moment Planning by Anna Ephgrave, and more, to suit the needs of nurseries and childcare providers.
EPA Process
A critical component of our Level 3 course is the End-Point Assessment (EPA).
This assessment occurs at the conclusion of your apprenticeship and serves as a comprehensive evaluation of your skills, knowledge, and behaviours. The EPA ensures that you are adequately prepared and qualified for a role in the early years’ sector.

Functional Skills
youIf you’re aged 16 to 18, you’ll need to have Functional Skills Level 1 in English and Maths, and work towards Level 2 before your End Point Assessment as part of your Early Years Educator Qualification.
If you’re 19 or over, we’ll support you in completing your Functional Skills as part of your apprenticeship journey.
The EYFS requirements state that anyone working towards their Level 3 must have a Level 2 functional skills in English to be counted in ratios.

Our sector expert staff will support you throughout the apprenticeship, helping you develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed as an early years educator. We deliver the programme throughout the year, providing you with the flexibility to start when it suits you.
Course Completion
Upon completion, learners will gain A Level 3 Early Years Educator Qualification, as well as a Pediatric First Aid certificate.

Frequently Asked Questions
No prior experience or knowledge is required however we may advise for you to complete the level 2 first depending on your initial assessments.
The typical duration for this course is 18 months and can be completed within 12 months.
Assessment includes a combination of your portfolio, live observation and a professional discussion.
Apprentices are required to work a minimum of 16 hours.
During your initial assessment with us, we will evaluate your circumstances to determine if you are eligible for any further financial support.
The pay for apprentices is at least the National Minimum Wage for apprentices, though some employers may choose to pay more.
